Equipment at a glance
The current list of Fiber Arts equipment is in Atlas: https://atlas.waukeshamakers.com.
No SOP pages have been written for this area yet. They will be added to the Equipment SOPs chapter of this book.
Before you work here
- Corded tools require training, sewing machines included. See Training and Certification: How Certification Works, and check your certifications in Journeyman at https://journeyman.waukeshamakers.com.
- Inspect each machine before use. See Training and Certification: Pre-Use Inspection.
- Sharp tools. Leather knives, rotary cutters and needles are a leading cause of small injuries. Cut away from yourself and put blades away or close them when you are done.
- Clean up threads, scraps and pins so the next person does not find them the hard way.
Area Champion
To be confirmed: who the Fiber Arts Area Champion is and how to reach them. See **Volunteer Runbooks: Area Champions** for what Area Champions do.
