The Metal Shop is for welding, grinding and plasma cutting: fabrication, repairs and anything else that involves cutting, shaping or joining metal.

## Before you work here

- **PPE is required** in the Metal Shop. See **Shop Safety: Personal Protective Equipment**.
- **Every corded tool requires training** before you use it, welders and plasma cutters included. See **Training and Certification: How Certification Works**, and check your certifications in Journeyman at https://journeyman.waukeshamakers.com.
- **This is hot work.** Clear combustibles before you start and watch for smoldering after you finish. See **Shop Safety: Fire Safety and Hot Work**.
